How To Kill A St Louis Woodpecker

St Louis woodpeckers, are quite interesting, awesome and cute birds. They are very small in size but can really do a number on you and your house when given the chance. They cause a number of problems like;

• destruction of house walls(wooden walls),
• noise pollution with their pecking noises,
• pecking trees so much that they eventually die, among others.

These, to me, are not enough reasons to cause murderous feelings towards the criters in anyone. These are just minor problems and are not really that serious. Actually, the Missouri woodpeckers also come with their own list of advantages. These include;
• elimination of bugs - the St Louis woodpecker will even burrow into the trees to get the bugs. Despite destroying the whole tree, the woodpecker atleast denies the bugs the opportunity to thrive and even skip from one tree to another and eventually cause more bad than good.
• providing nice nesting sites to other animals as they look for their own perfect nesting sight.

With all that said, then I should assume that you have now changed your mind, and are no longer intending to harm the creatures. However, incase you are not satisfied, then I am still going to show you a few ways to kill the bird. This is however pretty illegal since the birds are highly protected by the authorities. There are many different ways of killing a woodpecker. They include;
1. snap trap: this is basically a birdhouse trap for mice and is equiped also, with a mouse trap. The mouse trap snaps on the bird and kills it. This is very illegal.
2. shooting: here, the St Louis woodpecker is aimed at and shot down preferrably by a good shot. This is one of the best methods, but it is also very illegal to shoot a bird.
3. poisoning the birds: here, Missouri woodpecker poison such as strychnine is applied on the surface where the woodpecker comes, pecks and is killed by the poison.This method is also very much against the law.
